Frans Kilian, Pops, sadly passed away last night (Thurs 1 July) around 9pm at the Gold Coast University Hospital in Queensland, Australia. 

We are grateful that his suffering has now ended. We are grateful for a 80 year old life well lived. We are grateful for an amazing Dad, husband and human. 

And we are deeply grateful for being able to spend these last 6 days with my Father holding his hand and saying goodbye. He was surrounded by family when he died. What this has meant to our family cannot be overstated. 

And without the support of all of you this would not have been possible.

It was very important in these last few days while he could still speak to convey to each and every one of you how much this all meant to him, and our family. But he just didn't have the strength to do it. 

So on behalf of Frans, our family would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the dignity we could give him in his last moments.
