Stop breeding Staffys

Stop breeding Staffys
The issue
Staffy's are the second most popular dog breed in Australia but when they are in a shelter they are often the most difficult dog to re home.
Staffordshire Bull Terriers are the most likely to be abandoned by their owners. Currently around 80% of all abandoned dogs in shelters are Staffy's. They are high energy dogs and if not provided with stimulation can become destructive. So why then do breeders continue to be allowed to breed these dogs into an existence where they are most probably destined for Death Row?
Queenland Government please introduce legislation to stop the breeding of Staffys so that the numbers of this breed waiting to find homes can be reduced.
