LESS THAN 800 SIGNATURES TO GO FOLKS - AND NEWS OF A NEW SEPARATE PETITION
FOLKS, tonight we have less than 800 signatures to go to reach our target.
As I write tonight, a separate petitioner has submitted a new petition regarding the Crime and Corruption Commission in Queensland that I think is well worth our attention as it is calling on the Queensland Government to make changes to the CCC and to properly fund it. It is titled "QUEENSLAND RESIDENTS HAVE LOST CONFIDENCE IN THE CCC TO ADDRESS CORRUPTION"

How short is their memory? Less than 12 months ago, it was leaked in the news that a very large Facebook Group made up of around 1,000 Queensland Police Officers was shut down, with the Police Commissioner going on about the alleged defamation of senior police, yet almost totally ignored the racist, homophobic attitudes displayed by this VERY LARGE GROUP OF CURRENT SERVICING POLICE OFFICERS, with only 6 apparently 'COUNSELLED' and NO disciplinary action taken!
As they say, a fish rots from the head down!
I would urge you all to support the petition advertised in this update folks, as well as help us to promote this petition. With less than 800 signatures to get, it won't be long before we will be submitting it.
