Today's story attached to this update is about a so-called 'controversial neck hold' police often use when 'restraining' citizens. This neck hold has been in use for a considerable amount of time. This hold is designed to cut off blood supply to the brain when used as it should, rendering the citizen unconscious. The coroner who reviewed the fatality when this hold was allegedly used strongly recommended that QLD Police review the use of this hold. 

The trouble is, there has been absolutely NO public response from QPS about this issue!

These issues among many more should be oversighted by a Civilian Oversight Committee - forcing a response from QPS!
