ONLY 11 OUT OF THOUSANDS DEALT WITH - AND NO POLICE WERE SUSPENDED OR STOOD DOWN!

FOLKS - AS PER THE ARTICLE POSTED IN THIS UPDATE TODAY - THIS DEMONSTRATES WHY WE NEED CIVILIAN OVERSIGHT INTO POLICING IN QUEENSLAND

Out of thousands of police officers posting inappropriate material on Facebook, only 11 were dealt with and none were suspended or stood down!

AND the Police Commissioner's focus was only on the alleged defamation these officers committed.

We are astounded at this. NO real disciplinary action was taken at all, and the officers involved now have a GREEN LIGHT to such inappropriate behaviour.

The Police Oath states something that is clearly being disregarded here "WITHOUT FEAR OR FAVOUR". The Police Commissioner has given the green light for police officers in Queensland to remain biased against marginalized groups of people - I have just one word for this - DISGUSTING!
