Neil Punchard, a grub by any standards, got the details of a Domestic Violence victim and gave them to his mate, egging the mate on to give her a hard time.
The MOST DISGUSTING PART OF THIS STORY THOUGH FOLKS IS HOW THIS VICTIM WAS TREATED BY THE QUEENSLAND POLICE SERVICE. Punchard was originally convicted, but no jail time! The sad part about this story though folks is the FACT THAT THE POLICE 'SERVICE' paid to challenge the VICTIM in QCAT! Yep, you got that right, further victimising the VICTIM!
Punchard appealed his conviction, and had his conviction not recorded - the STATE appealed this decision and this week the Court reinstated the conviction, which now paves the way for QPS to sack this grub.
The legal case has been ongoing for 3 years, but get this folks - the victim has had to endure this situation for 8 YEARS! Yes that's right, Punchard did this offending 8 YEARS AGO!
SO HERE ARE SOME RELEVANT QUESTIONS FOLKS:
WHY did QPS further victimise this victim?
WHY did they wait 5 years to prosecute this grub?
WHY should the victim not be entitled to compensation from the pocket of this GRUB? WHY should tax payers - YOU and I - have to pay compensation to this victim out of our pockets through the taxes we pay?
