My sincere thank-you to those of you who contributed towards promoting this petition. It certainly does make a difference. I know I have done this several times, and I can see the signatures jump significantly when I do.

Next week I intend to make a major contribution to get this petition over 20,000 signatures. 

As the attached article demonstrates, there is a desperate need for reform of both the Queensland Police 'Service' internal investigations as well as how the Crime and Corruption Commission is set up. THERE NEEDS TO BE A TOTALLY INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION SYSTEM OVERSEEN BY CIVILIANS - AFTER ALL THE POLICE AND THE CCC ARE THERE TO 'PROTECT AND SERVE' CIVILLIANS TO OUR STANDARD. It's time for 'police investigating police' to STOP.
