THIS IS HOW FAIR DINKUM POLICE IN QUEENSLAND ARE IN PROTECTING VICTIMS!

As the attached media article details, the Queensland Police Service and our Queensland Government have absolutely NO interest in protecting victims of violence.

YEP, Police fight with a Domestic Violence Victim in court to avoid culpability. NOT ON - and this proves there is no real protection in Queensland when their own senior officers protect others who commit wrongdoing and further victimise their victims.

THIS is why we need Civilian Oversight, and a fair compensation system underwritten by professional indemnity insurance for Police Officers.

Help us to get this message across to this Government Folks, and don't buy their false rhetoric of 'really caring and being serious about Domestic Violence issues' because as this article demonstrates, they clearly are not.
