THINK YOU ARE PROTECTED AGAINST FALSE IMPRISONMENT?

In Australia, every State has laws to protect people, however not many people know that if the Police lock you up, and you are convicted for a crime you didn't commit, there is no right to compensation! 

Yes that's right, spend time in a jail and lose everything, and the State does NOT have to compensate you. 

If you are maliciously prosecuted, the Governments of Australia carefully crafted the legislation to make it virtually impossible to prove the Tort in Court. This is because the person bringing the action in court must prove intent on behalf of the Police to maliciously prosecute you, and this is virtually impossible - you can have all the evidence pointing to the element of malice but short of an actual confession by the police who went after you, it is impossible to prove to the standard required.

This petition seeks the right of compensation despite the legislation, in tune with the Human Rights legislation - but NOTE HOW THE QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT CAREFULLY CRAFTED THE QLD HUMAN RIGHTS ACT TO LEAVE OUT COMPENSATION AS A RIGHT!

FOLKS we are dealing with a Government and Police 'Service' that deal with things using smoke and mirrors to make it look good for themselves, but falls short of actually doing the right thing!
