Install crash barriers on Bruce Highway from Pine Rivers Bridge to Anzac Avenue
The issue
To the following State Members and Federal Members,
Shane King MP, Chris Whiting MP, Stirling Hinchliffe MP, Darren Chester MP.
We the drivers of the Bruce Highway ask for the immediate installation of crash barriers on the 4km section of the Bruce Highway from The Pine River Bridge to Anzac Avenue Overpass. The barriers need to be on both North and South bound sides of the road.
Too many lives are damaged and destroyed by head on crashes on this road, due to the lack of safety barriers. The two incidents in the month of March 2016 have shown that this needs to be fixed, and done now. I drive this road twice a day and have a real concern about the safety of this road.
A construction site cant operate with out safety rails, why should this road have no guard rails?
