El juicio oral hacia los 5 procesados se inició en mayo del 2015, se paralizó (quebró) a finales del 2015 por huelga de los trabajadores del Poder Judicial y se reanudó en mayo del 2016. Estuvo a punto de paralizarse (quebrarse) de nuevo a final del 2016 por una nueva huelga de los trabajadores del Poder Judicial pero gracias a la suma de diferentes circunstancias pudo seguir adelante.
