This petition was created after discussions with the local Jerrabomberra community.

The community have concerns about the consultation process and about the decision that was made to site the pump track in the Jerrabomberra Creek Park.

There was a lack of consultation for the approval process.  In September, Council resolved to 'adopt Jerrabomberra Creek Park, on Waterfall Drive, as the location for the construction of a pump track. This was resolved ignoring the community preference.  The preferred location was the South Jerrabomberra sporting complex. The current proposal will disrupt the natural environment of native wildlife, including wombats located and monitored in the area.

Please sign this petition to oppose the Jerrabomberra Creek Park on Waterfall Drive Pump Track and for it to be moved to the preferred location at the south Jerrabomberra sporting complex as voiced by the community. This preferred location is still close to the community and will also have car parking and amenities to serve the purpose.
