Epigraph (words of the Russian oligarchs at the last personal meeting 8 years ago, when they informed me about their fraud against me):
“If you are so smart, why the f... did you work in our company?!”.
By the way, I worked there for 18 years.
Dear Supporters
I promised to make a big and important update after reaching 35,000 Supporters, but today, thanks to you, the number of signatures has already exceeded 40,000, but I did not have time to make that promised important update. Thank you so much for such support, which does not give me time to react in a timely manner, and I kindly ask you to continue your support.
I will make a big and important update soon, and today I will tell you that I start to notice that the oligarchs have somehow begun to seek the secret removal of English-language publications about my story, which were referenced in the petition. For example, in my profile on Change.org I posted a link to the 2018 publication (https://eutoday.net/news/human-rights/2018/latvia-has-granted-political-asylum-to-igor-sychev that Latvia granted me refugee status. This article also described attempts to kill me. After some time, I found that this page shows a 404 error. That is, for 5 years it did not worry the oligarchs, and when I referred to it on Change.org, suddenly a 404-error occurred.
Today I discovered that the same thing happened with another publication of 2017 (https://www.pressclub.be/event/press-briefing-with-the-top-fomer-russian-manager-igor-sychev-who-took-refuge-in-latvia/
I managed to find a cached copy (a printed version is here). And it also says about death threats.
Interestingly, the oligarchs always delete publications secretly, and they never try to refute them using appropriate legal procedures. It means that I am doing everything right and only publicity can help to resist the criminal activities of the oligarchs.
And in this regard, I remember a unique and unprecedented story of 2016, when the oligarchs tried to take me hostage with the help of a fabricated criminal case and demanded that the amount of their obligations be reduced by 5 times and that I pay a bribe to investigators in the fantastic amount of $ 4 million. I managed to leave Russia, and the oligarchs were sure that I was there because they confiscated my passport, and therefore they had frank conversations with me on the phone, which I recorded on a dictaphone while being abroad. And I told in general terms about the “offers” of the oligarchs to the press, and the next day the article was blocked by the state body overseeing the press, with reference to a court decision dated two years before publication, but in which the court showed such miracles of foresight that it guessed when and where the article would be published and even its future Internet address. What miracles just don't happen. The article was unblocked thanks to efforts of the journalists.
I also added an epigraph (cover photo to this update) to the main text of the petition, consisting of four of the most monstrous threats from the oligarchs, addressed not only to me, but also to my children.
Many thanks and kind regards,
Igor Sychev
