Happy Flag Day! On this 56th anniversary of the Canadian flag, let’s honour it with a gift -- Change the rule so that no other flag is permitted to come before it in the order of precedence. Existing federal regulations put some 30 personal flags of British royals and viceroys ahead (or in place) of our beloved national symbol. The flag of the governor general is among them, and the disgrace brought by the recent GG only proves that personal flags should never come before our national one.

Let’s change the current edict, and put the Canadian flag first at all times in its own country. If you've signed this petition, thank you. Now take two more steps:
