Ottawa denies our flag the gold medal

Canadian athletes are doing everything they can to put our flag in gold medal position at the Olympic Winter Games. But back home, our federal government says the Maple Leaf takes silver, giving gold to the flags of 30 individuals who either live overseas or represent those who do. We say the flags of the governor general, 10 lieutenant-governors and royals can certainly fly, but the Maple Leaf should *always* take the precedence in its home country.
