Rutgers baseball had the best season in their history this past year. Going 44-15 (121 win pace in the MLB) and 17-7 in the big 10 finishing in second place. Somehow someway the committee managed to keep us out of the tournament. This is the first time EVER in the history of the big 10 that the second place team failed to receive a tournament bid. Maryland who finished 1.5 games ahead of Rutgers was ranked 16th out of 64 but somehow Rutgers missed the entire 64 team field. Rutgers was also the ONLY team in the whole big 10 tournament that had 0 losses prior to the championship game. It’s been long known that committees of this sort hold biases against Rutgers sports but this is just ridiculous. Those boys worked hard and earned this!!
