Dear Supporters of EBRPSS,
As you are aware, Dr. NArcisse is no longer superintendent of EBRPSS. interim Superintendent Adam Smith currently serves and has brought stability, peace and 27 years experience as a teacher, principal, and administrator to the position. The current School Board, however, has the right to vote on a permanent superintendent.
The outcome of the election in District 8 this Saturday will determine the future of leadership on the School Board. The election in that area, clarified in the picture above , has two candidates on the ballot. One is a nice mom who has enrolled her children in a charter school. AS you know, charters have their own unelected boards that make decisions out of the public eye although the public's tax dollars are used to fund the schools. During a radio interview today, this candidate stated that the EBRPSS School Boards controls the charter where her children attend. THIS IS A HUGE FACTUAL ERROR.
Please vote for and encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to vote for Steve Crump. Mr. Crump supports our true public schools, faculty , and students. Mr. Crump understands our school system's configuration and the need for our many diverse programs. He possesses the knowledge of finance and governance that will enable our district to survive the difficult days ahead of us.
