On Saturday 28th June, Doechii performed on the West Holts stage at Glastonbury, performing what has been agreed to be one of the standout performances of the festival, including a five star Guardian review, and this from the BBC themselves across various posts during and following the set:

While the BBC streamed the set live, there were many complaining about the festival organisers putting Charli XCX on at the same time, it being dubbed the biggest clash of the weekend, and as such many watched Charli, expecting to be able to watch Doechii later on the iPlayer. But, come Sunday morning, every other big name performer from Saturday, like Neil Young's Pyramid stage performance, and Charli XCX are streaming on the iPlayer, and Doechii is nowhere to be seen.

Despite the consensus among critics that Doechii was a big name to come to the festival, and was one of the best sets of the weekend - and was on at a prime time, and definitely recorded (unlike some other big names who had early day slots, like the Kaiser Chiefs) - Doechii's set has still not been added to the iPlayer. Anyone looking for the set will simply find this:

It is unclear how long "soon" refers to, given that it has been almost a week as of writing this. Certain songs she performed are available on the BBC Sounds app, but this seems absurd given it has been reported to have been such a visually expressive show, and other artists have been easily afforded streaming on iPlayer.

I have written a complaint to the BBC, pressuring them to put the set on the iPlayer, and asking for justification as to why it is not. I hope that this petition can help pressure the BBC into taking action, or at the very least explaining their decision not to.
