Many times Children with disabilities are non-verbal and are unable to explain bruises or marks on their bodies. Some parents have observed Matrons and Bus drivers being rough with their children and filed complaints. Having cameras on all school buses would allow Bus companies to have some monitoring system on how their staff are treating the children.  And if a complaint is made, there is a way to replay what happen on the bus. Also the school Bus Matrons and drivers could be mindful on how they treat our children since they are being monitored. Having a monitoring system would also give parents some peace of mind. Some bus companies already have cameras on their buses but this should be a mandatory requirement for all school buses, specially the school buses transporting special needs children, who are the most vulnerable ones.
