We’ve hit 10,000!
As I’m writing this, we have officially hit 10,000 signatures to Put a Pigeon on the UK £20 Banknote.
What started as a design concept has become a national movement to put our misunderstood and overlooked war hero pigeon on our banknotes and most importantly change the perception of the birds we see every day. It has started an incredible conversation for pigeons and there's lots more to come!
Our goal remains the same: The Bank of England’s expert panel is currently deciding which wildlife makes the official shortlist for the public vote this summer. We are no longer just an "idea", we are 10,000 voices demanding that the character of our streets is represented.
Commemorating the Milestone: To celebrate hitting this massive 10k milestone, I’ve just dropped a special National Treasure Edition print on my website. Many of you asked for a way to own the design and support the work I’m doing to keep this mission moving, this is one of the ways of marking this point in our journey together. More to come soon too!!

What’s Next? We have the momentum, we have the numbers, and the experts are listening. Hopefully, the next time you hear from me, it will be to celebrate that the Pigeon has officially made the Bank of England shortlist for the national vote or that we've hit another massive milestone.
Thank you for being one of the 10,000 people who support this. Let’s show them that the public has already chosen its champion.
Even the RSPCA are calling for "under-appreciated" wildlife to be featured. We are actually making this happen. Imagine the scenes when you reach for your wallet and a pigeon is staring back at you.
Let’s get our national treasure on the banknote! 🇬🇧
