There is a significant problem in many of our communities where there is a lack of enforced gun laws, and this starts to cause terrible and unfortunate incidents such as unnecessary deaths, school shootings, and an increased number of gun deaths and suicides. Did you know, more than 600 people die because of gun violence every day, and the U.S. is averaging 1 mass shooting per day. We are advocating for Massachusetts Bill H.1836, an act to require liability insurance for gun ownership to be passed by the Massachusetts State Government. This Bill will target many root causes that play a major role in gun violence. It will encourage more background checks, inform owners of the risk of owning guns, and more.
