Hi I am Birdie Cato I am Ali Parviz exchange American sister. For the past four month Ali, who is from Germany, has been living with my family here as a foreign exchange student. Ali’s family spent a lot of money so he can come to America. Golden Valley High School in Merced, CA has decided to kick him out of the school for “excessive absences.” He has missed a total of 15 days this school year. A week he was sick with covid. The rest are excused. (example: funeral out of state) He is a straight A student and keeps his grades in check and worries if he even gets below an 90%. He played football for GV this past season and loved it. He LOVES America and wants to live here in the future. This petition is to make sure that he can stay at Golden Valley High school. An Assistant Vice Principal targeted Ali because I was absent from GVHS due to a continuing medical condition. Our family never received a warning, Ali never had a detention, or has been spoken to. 

I really need people to sign so the school will see that Ali shoud stay here until June. Please and Thank you 💗💗
