My father started experiencing health problems in July off 2022, soon after he couldn't get out of bed.  Back then I worked for Publix,  which I still do, I had my own home and owned my own business which I was doing good till my dad got sick. I am my father's only child,  when my dad got ill I lost my home,  I had to move in with him to help take care of him,  he was bed ridden and needed almost constant 24/7 care, I did everything from spoon feed him to give him his medicine, to bathing him.I  lost my business, I can't work 2 jobs and take care of my dad so I closed my business.  I went part-time at Publix so I could have more time with my father and to make sure he is OK. My father passed away June 16th 2023 a week after my birthday.  I left Huntsville after his death to start over and I transferred to rainbow city Alabama. I have severe health problems of my own,  I have severe arthritis, heart problems and diabetes. Publix has cut my health insurance off, the store manager refuses to make me full-time in the deli which he says he wants me to prove my worth to him before I can go back full-time and get benefits so I can go to the doctor to get medicine that will save my own life!  I was full-time at Publix for nearly 10 years and had to go part-time for the right reasons which was to take care of my father who was dieing! Publix is a great company,  not only to shop at but to work for. I have went to corporate with this and they can't help me,  I have given this company 10 years of my life and when I needed them to be understanding the most they weren't! I really need to get back full-time and get my health insurance back.  My life depends on my health insurance! My store manager has turned a blind eye towards my service for this company,  he turns a blind eye towards all the work I do now! He never says a kind word,  never compliments anyone or anything. Please people,I stopped my whole life to care for my father,  my father raised me as a single dad with no help, my father asked me soon after he got sick "Please don't leave me ", and I didn't ,  I am a very kind person,  please,  read sign and share this petition!
