Update for RH Public Archery Range Petition: June 2022

Hello fellow Richmond Hillers and GTA archers;

Just a heads-up, we're still collecting signatures if you can get friends and family to sign on! However, as of June 8 a copy of the namelist to this petition, along with the full version of this letter (with comments on the safety requirements and amenities needed for a range, as well as some advised locations in the City, notably in the David Dunlop Observatory) was sent to the Planning and Infrastructure Department with confirmation by June 9.

Meanwhile, the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) has responded to a Freedom of Information (FOI) request filed (ref#: 2022-19) for the budget sheet for Seton Park Archery Range, and shall respond no later than July 1, 2022. This information will be useful in further accounts and deputation to make the case for proving that an archery grounds is affordable and cost-effective for the rapidly expanding city.
