New information was presented to Minister Hunt by Allan Hird, Bruce Francis, J34 and many other concerned citizens during 2016. For example, Justice for the 34 is aware Bruce Francis sent Minister Hunt a 22 page document on new information including references etc which could be verified. This new information included corruption, evidence tampering, suppression of mitigating evidence, similar program at another AFL club which escaped sanctions by ASADA etc. and more. As no investigation was forthcoming, J34 wanted to find out why? We have now obtained a copy of the Department of Health Ministerial Submission urgent brief to Minister Hunt on the subject. It appears the Department of Health has undertaken a minimal amount of investigation, referring to one newspaper article only, notwithstanding the volumes of information and documents sent to the Minister. This is disappointing. They did not investigate any of the issues raised. Please help us by registering your disappointment here: Email: Greg.Hunt.MP@aph.gov.au Personal website: http://www.greghunt.com.au/ Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/greg.hunt.mp1 Twitter: @GregHuntMP Here is the Department of Health's Ministerial Submission into 'new information' on the Essendon saga: Document one: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/3200/response/11326/attach/5/FOI%20230%201617%20Document%201%20redacted%20for%20release.pdf Document two: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/3200/response/11326/attach/6/FOI%20230%201617%20Document%202%20redacted%20for%20release.pdf Kindly support a Senate Inquiry into this whole sordid affair by signing this petition, and asking others to support it.
