In an email dated 3 July 2012 from ASADA’s Sciences and Results Manager, Dr Stephen Watt, to his counterpart at WADA headquarters in Montreal, he asks: “I wanted to inquire if WADA had considered the prohibited status of a drug Thymomodulin, also known as Thymosin”. Therefore, the base assumption ASADA and WADA should have concluded was that whenever Thymosin was mentioned i.e. text messages, player Consent Forms, and witness statements, etc, it was in fact, Thymomodulin.
