PEF Endorses Hochul, NYSCOPBA Endorses Blakeman for Governor

Dear Supporters,

Once again, the Public Employees Federation (PEF) betrayed its Parole Officer members and endorsed Kathy Hochul for New York State Governor.

Never forget that Governor Hochul signed the disastrous ‘LESS is MORE’ parole reform act into law. That’s why PEF hasn’t done much to repeal or amend ‘LESS is MORE.’

In contrast, the New York State Correctional Officers & Police Benevolent Association (NYSCOPBA) endorsed Bruce Blakeman for New York State Governor. 

This is one of the many reasons why we are advocating for Parole Officers to join a law enforcement union like NYSCOPBA. 

Unfortunately, Parole Officers’ dues support PEF and its endorsement of politicians who are anti-parole. Thankfully, public employees can opt out of paying union dues.
