Pension Parity: Contact PEF & Request NYSCOPBA 25-Year Retirement @ 48th Annual PEF Convention

New York State Parole Officers
Oct 1, 2026

Dear Supporters,

This is a  friendly reminder to contact the Public Employees Federation (PEF) and request a NYSCOPBA 25-year retirement plan prior to the 48th Annual PEF Convention set for October 18-21, 2026, in Niagara Falls.

As stated before, we’re seeking 25-years/ 50% or 30-years/ 60% retirement (regardless of age) for all New York State Parole Officers, Senior Parole Officers and Parole Revocation Specialists.

This would really benefit TIER 6 Parole Officers who unfortunately have to work until age 63 and have 30 years of service in order to receive a full pension.

Let’s send a strong message to PEF: Parole Officers shouldn’t be the only law enforcement  officers at the NYS Department of Corrections & Community Supervision (DOCCS) without a NYSCOPBA 25-year retirement plan.

Please email this petition update to Danielle Blue in the PEF Legislative Office at  Danielle.Blue@pef.org, PEF Parole Division 236 Council Leader G. Lopez at Glopez@PEF.org, and PEF Vice President and Statewide Political Action Committee Chair Randi DiAntonio at Rdiantonio@PEF.org.

In solidarity,

New York State Parole Officers
