Long time ago in the 1960s, Lloyd Alexander the book author has made 5 books and they were popular and sold well. It featured Taran the farmer, the Tomboy Princess Eilonwy and the bard and Prince Gwydion fighting against The evil Horned King, Queen Achren, and Lord Arawn. I liked the books so much. But when the Disney movie "The Black Cauldron" was made in 1985 they altered the story and crammed 2 books "The book of three" and "The Black Cauldron and left out Prince Gwydion, Kaw the crow Lord Arawn, Queen Achren and other memorable characters and scenes that make the Prydian Chronicles great. Also the movie has Gurgi jump in the black cauldron instead of Prince Ellidyr and nobody rode on horses and the characters in the Black Cauldron movie have been altered with different hairstyle and Doli is a flying fairy in the movie rather than a dwarf.

The Black Cauldron movie didn't do too well at the box office and since then Disney studios has made wonderful G rated cartoon movies.

Now it's been almost 30 years now and no official news on whether Disney Studios will announce a Black Cauldron movie remake. This Prydian movie remake needs to be made well. Just think when Lord of the Rings cartoon movie was made in 1978 it was rushed and didn't do as well in the box office and 23 years later in 2001 Peter Jackson did a Lord of the Rings remake with real people in it.

Now I ask Disney Studios to go back and do a Prydian movie remake or better yet do a Disney Plus TV series called Prydian Chronicles starting with "The Book of Three" and then the sequel "The Black Cauldron" with real people in it or a better cartoon remake and then make 3 more Prydian movies or 3 TV Seasons. Also There needs to be a Prydian video game for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, 5, and Xbox One, Xbox Series or PC Steam with better graphics. When this movie remake or TV series remake gets made, I hope it will be alot better than the rushed 1985 cartoon movie and hopefully Disney will not change much and make it more true to the 5 Prydian Chronicles and do a well done job and maybe get an academy award.

Now I encourage you Prydian fans to read the 5 books by Lloyd Alexander before signing the Petition or sign it anyways if you agree with me. Let's get The Black Cauldron remake or Prydian Chronicles in movie theaters and on DVD.
