Grant Trower, the key person in starting this campaign to get permanent protection for the Duncan Lakes Ancient Cedars, was involved in an absolutely horrific accident on July 29. Grant has been in Vancouver General Hospital ever since.

Grant and his organization Wildlife Habitats for Tomorrow have worked tirelessly for decades to help protect some of the last remaining wild places in British Columbia. Grant has received recognition by the Land Conservancy for his efforts around land protection and has served as a long time board member of the Fish and Wildlife Compensation Program where he was known for holding those in power to account. Grant and his long time partner Leslie need your help now.

Our work to protect these giant trees and what is left of our precious wild-lands is not going to stop. We have a very big meeting scheduled on September 9th. We will keep you posted.
