Fuel prices are soaring, and for many regional cancer patients, the cost of simply getting to essential treatment and specialist appointments is becoming overwhelming.
We are calling on the Australian Government to provide car registration concessions for regional cancer patients undergoing treatment, helping ease some of the financial pressure faced by people who have no choice but to travel long distances for vital medical care.
Cancer doesn’t stop because you live in a regional or rural community — and patients shouldn’t be financially disadvantaged because of where they live.
