The families of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, are facing a severe environmental and health crisis due to the presence of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) in their water supply. Over 40 homes are affected and the number continues to grow as testing and community awareness expands. This leaves families with an impossible choice: continue using contaminated water for their everyday needs, spend unsustainable amounts on bottled water, or pay maintenance fees on filtration systems. 

We urge the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and local government officials to take immediate action to extend public water lines to the affected areas. Providing a public water connection would ensure the well-being of Bloomsburg residents and protect them from further exposure to these dangerous chemicals.
