Unity Environmental University's new AI policy and "AI-First" design principle completely contradicts our school's environmental mission!

I have started this petition asking Dr. Melik Peter Khoury and the administration to reconsider their AI-first approach that ignores the massive environmental impact of AI data centers. 

AI data centers are some of the biggest water and energy consumers on the planet. The continued encouragement of AI use and lack of restrictions are appalling. The disconnect is staggering.

Dr. Melik Peter Khoury is the president and CEO of Unity Environmental University.

Dr. Jeff Marlett currently serves as Dean of Academic Affairs for In-Person Education at Unity Environmental University. 

Kimberly Post is the Associate Dean of Environmental Graduate Studies at Unity Distance Education.

Dr. Michaeleen Gerken Golay serves as the Dean of Graduate Studies.
