Hi my name is Mikhail Weiss, also known as Alex Weiss, but I'm on a new change.org Account. I am here to organize people together to try and protest globally before, and on Earth Day. With the new election its going to be vital to try and keep the protections we have set for the Earth and make sure we can fight back against policy changes, especially in the United States now that we are about to have a new president in office who has explicitly said he would remove these protections. It is vital for this biosphere we inhabit that our voices are heard because the clock is ticking, but we still have time. This change.org is being used for me to gage how many people have seen my message and will protest alongside me to keep our planet safe.

  As you may know from my previous petitions, I am from Butte Montana, and now live in Ohio. I have seen how climate change affected Montana from increased droughts and wildfires, to the destruction of entire forests by mountain pine beetles due to these events. This is very personal to me and as mentioned before I really hope you can stand alongside me from here on out as this is an important issue that is lacking from the media.
