Today the nation is celebrating its 72nd Independence Day.  The question which still arises in our mind is "Are we really Independent"?  We are still mired in caste appeasement tactics by government.  Many political parties came and went away but the issue of caste politics is still ruling our nation and it is opined that no political party is that strong to remove Caste Politics from its permanent seat.

Mr.  Modi,  our PM,  has expressed his emotions atop the iconic Red Fort on the auspicious event today that he is "anxious" for the country. It is our PM's last and 5th Independence Day Speech of 82nd minute, the longest of his tenure before the general elections which is due in 2019. The coming general election of 2019 is believed to seal his fate in coffin.

Mr. PM has touched all important issues barring few which are of paramount importance that has crippled our nation for long.  No doubt,  Mr.  PM is very good at giving superflous speeches which is actually very hypnotic to our attention.  He says the nation and its people are speedily progressing and their condition are improving.  He says toilets building since 2013 has significantly improved in many parts of the country but the truth is metro city's sanitation condition has seen no improvement and many people are still defecating in open.

He is concerned about welfare of farmers but he is neglecting the fact that farmers are OBCs/Generals also who are involved in false SC/ST cases which his government is trying to revive in the most dangerous form to save his seat.  Farmers are committing suicide due to default of paying heavy loans with accruing interest and on the other side fraud industrialists are advanced huge sum of money just on letter of credit/guarantee even after repeated default in paying loans.

Mr.  PM takes credit of passing significant bills which are enacted as law and which is commendable in pure sense but the question arises how these laws are actually safeguarding our nation in ternms of implementation. Red tapism, Bottleneck in decision making of bureaucracy is still prevalent in government departments but Mr.  PM has an altogether different  view on these issues and he says his government has done away with these evils.

He gives a tag of "Reform,  Perform and Transform" to his government of the past four years which we all understand the significance of his tag very well. He says startup,  BPO and mobility sectors have improved and on the other hand there is huge retrenchment or fire and hire policy endemic in these sectors which never touches down to any legal remedy.

He stresses on entrepreneurship and says many are self-employed but the truth is the few who are daring to be self-employed are harassed in the hands of banks for securing loan to their business.  There are many PM entrepreneur loan schemes which are doing rounds on their toungues but for securing loans you have to go through long paper work procedures and wait long for your files to get approved through many bureaucrat departments which actually hamper you financially. If that is so then how the PM can say that red tapism culture is over?

He says he is very much inclined to double the income of Farmers and on the other hand he is bringing the draconion SC/ST law to automatic arrest them on false cases?  If you are planning to throw the person in the jail for rest of his lives, how are you supposed to double their income?  Do you find any logic in his speech?

Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan has not recorded any significant success.  Few states are declared Open Defecation Free and many are still asking for toilets which the evil of red tapism and bottleneck is restricting them to achieve.

Mr.  Modi says multi-billion dollars are invested in our country. The question is where is the money?  If the investments are made why our banking sectors are languishing for severe cash crunch which led to higher banking loan interest.  I accept the fact that various government sectors are bringing up with job vacancies and lakhs are appearing but why the recruitment level is low that departments are facing lack of staffs that are forcing them to recruit retired employees.  The situation in employment have become that worse that many interviews are not conducted for many months and even if they are conducted, recruitment is cancelled on the last moment.

Mr. PM has promised the nation by 25 Sept. he would launch the most promising and long awaited health scheme the "PM Jan Arogya Scheme" on the birth anniversary of Sh.  Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay (whose name has replaced the century long iconic Mughalsarai Railway Station), which is supposed to improve the health condition of 10 crores people.  It is a pilot project of the government and let us see how this scheme is implemented. The irony is all his pilot projects are implemented on the last tenure of his service.

Mr.  PM has also promised that by 2022 a man or a woman would go to space. Let us see whether he stays till that time to fulfil his promise or even if he comes back with a huge majority whether he fulfils his promise or not because Mr.  PM is very good at bounce delivery.

After all these,  our PM has fulfiled a long demand of armed forces women by gifting them permanent commission in service.  Hope it helps!  But there is one subject which is trying to break the shackles and trying rise above all which is 'Caste equality. ' Merits are ignored and reservation held its head high. In the name of caste upliftment,  merits are quashed and innocents are lodged in Jail in the name of safeguarding rights of downtrodden.  We have to rise and above all and have to fight for our rights by opposing the SC/ST Bill.  Mr.  PM raises all such evils that his government has countered in its tenure.  He is giving figures of false recruitments,  false companies among others but he did not give the actual figures of how many innocents are implicated falsely and lodged behind jails under SC/ST Act which our Supreme Court has taken into account before allowing for pre-investigation before arrest.

There are very powerful sections in our society like Mr.  PM (including SC/STs) who are immune from arrest but what about rest of the people who are not SC/ST. OBCs/Generals are deceived by his  superflous speeches and promises.  General/OBCs are in the fear of arrest then how are we independent?

Generals and OBCs have laid down their lives to secure our independence from the tyranny of Britishers.  We have played significant role in contributing iconic histories by our valour and courage inspiring other countries to follow our lead. Now our condition has deteriorated to such an extent that our loved ones are in fear of going jails.  Is that what we deserve for laying our lives to make the country strong and independent? Is that what we expected post Independence?

Now it is our time to raise above all false promises and secure our independence. Protest against SC/ST bill is indeed securing our independence and the day when the bill would be withdrawn that day we would be celebrating our real Independence Day.

Jai Hind!
