Protejamos una de las pocas zonas verdes y húmedas de Mojácar.

Lamentablemente, el espacio arbolado del camping, el humedal de al lado y la zona de campo que lo rodea están en riesgo de extinción, por el PGOU de Mojácar. Como está sucediendo en la nueva carretera de Mojácar.

Es uno de los pocos espacios verdes y húmedos dentro del ecosistema tan árido y sensible que tiene Mojácar. En esta zona no solo hay eucaliptos, juncos, mimosas y antiguos algarrobos, también es refugio de la amenazada tortuga mora, aves y otros animales. También existe una antigua acequia del siglo pasado por la que corre agua subterránea.

Obras de una magnitud como las que se planean, dañarán significativamente el campo, impactando la flora y fauna local.

Se planea crear una carretera que conecte la playa con la nueva variante, bloques de cientos de viviendas  y un nuevo centro comercial

Creemos que es este proyecto es incompatible con un avance respetuoso y sostenible con el entorno natural. 

Exigimos al ayuntamiento y a las empresas responsables un compromiso ético REAL por este espacio natural que debería ser protegido.

Tanto en las obras de la zona del Camping como en las futuras obras de ampliación de Mojácar.

Firme esta petición para instar a los responsables de esta construcción a considerar prácticas de sostenibilidad ambiental en sus planes de construcción. ¡Juntos podemos!

Let's protect one of the few green and wet areas of Mojácar.

Unfortunately, the wooded area of the campsite, the wetland next to it and the surrounding countryside are at risk of extinction, because of the PGOU of Mojácar. As is happening on the new Mojácar road.

It is one of the few green and humid spaces within Mojácar's arid and sensitive ecosystem. In this area there are not only eucalyptus trees, reeds, mimosas and ancient carob trees, but it is also a refuge for the endangered Moorish tortoise, birds and other animals. There is also an old irrigation channel dating back to the last century through which underground water flows.

Works on the scale of those planned will significantly damage the countryside, impacting local flora and fauna.

It is planned to create a road connecting the beach to the new bypass, blocks of hundreds of houses and a new shopping centre.

We believe that this project is incompatible with a respectful and sustainable development of the natural environment.

We demand a REAL ethical commitment from the council and the companies responsible for this natural area which should be protected.

Both in the works in the campsite area and in the future expansion works in Mojácar.
