Around 150 children, youngsters, women, senior citizens, NGO representatives, environmental activists, professionals, college professors, businessmen, etc. from Thane enthusiastically joined the citizens awareness rally to highlight the importance of Kavesar Lake, its biodiversity and fragile ecosystem and the need to protect the same from concretization under the guise of beautification.
