I am starting this petition to demand stronger protections against the use of AI to create sexually explicit images of people without their consent.

This issue is deeply personal to me. Someone I trusted used an AI tool to generate explicit images of me without my knowledge or permission for personal use. The betrayal and violation have left me feeling unsafe, humiliated, and stripped of control over my own image.

AI tools, such as those openly advertised on platforms like X (formerly Twitter), make it alarmingly easy to “nudify” pictures of women. These technologies should never have the ability to weaponize someone’s likeness in this way. Without clear laws and accountability, women and children are left vulnerable to this digital abuse.

By signing this petition, you are helping call for legislation to evolve current laws and bills to criminalize not just the creation and distribution, but also the possession of AI-generated sexual images without consent. Furthermore, we demand that companies be prohibited from developing and deploying AI technologies that have the ability to undress or sexualize individuals, especially women and children.
