In case you missed it: A total of 47 people submitted written testimony asking the City Council to deny the right-of-way vacation in the Willamette Wetlands, adding up to 130 pages!  

On March 6th the developer withdrew their application to vacate the rights-of-way, due in part to the overwhelming written testimony provided by the community. 

We owe a huge thank you to all who submitted testimony and used their voices to protect public interest in this special place. This could not have been possible without your support. We hope this serves as a great reminder that every voice matters and that together, we can make a difference.

While this withdrawn application is a great step forward, we are not stopping until we have this wetland habitat formally protected for the community and future generations. We must continue to work together to protect West Linn’s largest wetland.
