We recommend all Lakewood, Colorado voters return your mail-in ballots and Vote YES on the four ballot questions on April 7, 2026 to Repeal Radical Rezoning.

Lakewood has rezoned the entire city without including wildlife buffer zones to protect wildlife, parks, open spaces and habitats.  That is not acceptable and ignores a key request of the petition.  We even provided the language from the land use code the City of Fort Collins uses to protect habitats and open spaces.  Lakewood ignored all 7,600+ of you!  Lakewood also ignored the excellent example of the City of Fort Collins.

Big money wants Lakewood's rezoning to happen without buffer zones because that means more locations next to habitats, parks and open spaces that can be monetized by developers.  That is not an exaggeration.  The campaign to convince the public to swallow Lakewood's bitter rezoning pill is primarily funded by private equity!

Please VOTE  YES, YES, YES, YES on four ballot items to Repeal Radical Rezoning.

There are many reasons to VOTE YES.

For more information, please visit the Lakewood Citizens Alliance to volunteer or donate.
