Protect the wolves at Isle Royale!

The Issue

Wolves are a keystone species on Isle Royale.  But recently they have been eating garbage and stealing food from a backpack.  The park staff thankfully has been responding humanely by removing all anthropogenic food sources and asking visitors to do the same.  Hazing (using noise and other harmless repellents) is also used.  Thank you for only using humane non lethal ways like attractant removal and hazing to manage human wolf conflicts.  Please do not use lethal methods.  Killing wolves leaves room for more to move in, and does not solve the issue of attractants.  By using non lethal methods, you demonstrate how people and animals can coexist peacefully.  https://www.nps.gov/isro/learn/news/isle-royale-national-park-implements-new-food-storage-guidelines-to-reduce-human-wildlife-interactions.htm
