SB 233 is looking to prevent physicians from providing gender-affirming care to individuals, under the age of 18, by revoking licenses of those physicians who provide that care. Additionally, any individual who has received gender-affirming treatment, under the age of 18, can sue the physician who provided that care up to 3 years after turning 18.

HB 2238 aims to limit participation on girls' sports teams to individuals who were assigned female at birth. This would prevent transgender girls from playing on the team that aligns with their perceived gender.
