Protect the Public and our Police – Pass Pro-Safety Legislation Now

The Issue

Policing has always been a dangerous profession, but today officers face an unprecedented level of attacks. In 2024 alone, more than 85,000 officers were assaulted, the highest in a decade. Between 2021–2024, more officers were feloniously killed than in any four years in 20 years. At the same time, rogue prosecutors target officers for doing their jobs, while protecting criminals and ignoring crime victims.

As a result, departments face historic staffing shortages. Burned-out officers are less able to protect communities, leaving Americans more vulnerable than ever.

We urge Congress to advance stalled legislation, such as the Protect and Serve Act, the Back the Blue Act, the Thin Blue Line Act, the Qualified Immunity Act, the LEO K9 Protection Act, and the Fighting Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Act.

Our safety is affected by police safety. It is time lawmakers had our backs. Sign to demand immediate action.

As coalition member, Henry Morris says, "If we lose our peace officers, we lose our country."
