Children's Law Center, Inc.
Feb 21, 2016
On April 19th, the national campaign, Stop Solitary for Kids, will launch. It is a collective effort of the Center for Children’s Law and Policy, the Center for Juvenile Justice Reform at Georgetown University, the Council of Juvenile Correctional Administrators and the Justice Policy Institute. A national campaign will help bring attention and support to campaign like Ohio's. Also, an op-ed was published by a staff member of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ). NCJFCJ is one of the largest and oldest judicial membership organizations in the country, serving an estimated 30,000 professionals in the juvenile and family justice system including judges, referees, commissioners, court masters and administrators, social and mental health workers, police, and probation officers. When organizations like NCJFCJ begin to stand up on such issues you can feel change is coming. Please contact us at info@childrenslawky.org if you want to know how you can further support the campaign.
