Thank you to everyone who has signed our petition. We wanted to share a few important things we've discovered while continuing to look into the proposed development.

📍 The wrong postcode was used
The Trinity site was listed with the wrong postcode — KT22 7BP instead of KT22 7QT.

KT22 7BP is the postcode for the still-active Leatherhead Trinity School, rather than the former Trinity site where the proposed development is planned.

We were also made aware that the planning poster had been displayed at the wrong location associated with that postcode. We raised the postcode and site notice issue with Mole Valley District Council, who have now corrected the information and replaced the site notice.

We believe the community deserves to know how long the incorrect postcode and poster location were being used, and whether this could have caused confusion for residents trying to find the correct site and planning information.

⚠️ There are still concerns
We've also found that:

  • The Council's Senior Ecologist does not support proposed changes to two biodiversity conditions.
  • There are requirements around demolition, construction traffic and access that still need to be properly addressed.
  • We continue to scrutinise the planning information and ask questions where things aren't clear.

These may sound like technical planning matters, but they can have a real impact on our village green spaces and the way this development is carried out.

❤️ Please keep supporting the campaign
We're continuing to look through the evidence and will keep the community informed as we uncover more.

If you've already signed, please share the petition with your neighbours. If you haven't signed, we'd really appreciate your support.

Thank you for supporting us to help protect our village green spaces.
