Thank you

I am deeply saddened to announce that the anthropology department at UNCG will be discontinued. The students and faculty do not know what the future looks like for teaching out, alumni, and jobs. UNCG has lost a vital program.

To the anthropology professors who made my time at UNCG engaging, challenging, and inspiring, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know many of us graduating under your teachings will thrive and make you proud.

Thank you for all the supporters of this petition and thank you for all the students, faculty, and community members for continuing to rally and try our hardest to fight for our program.

Today, I am proud to be a future anthropologist and disappointed to be a spartan.
