I recently hosted an Overview of the Texas CCLS Licensure Initiative for individual CCLSs interested in pursuing licensure in their state. Twenty-seven CCLSs from California, Pennsylvania, New York, South Carolina, Nevada, Minnesota (who is also actively pursing licensure), and other Texas CCLSs participated.

California is currently organizing their grassroots movement for CCLS Licensure!  It is so exciting to see the amazing things that our small but very mighty field is willing to take on, to ensure that the person calling themselves a 'child life specialist' at your child's hospital bedside, is indeed qualified to use that title.
