Hi all, two weeks ago we updated this petition from the car-park barrier to the wider Stag Meadow proposals (3G pitch, floodlights, seven-day use). We checked with Change.org first and they confirmed updating and notifying signers is acceptable, which is why you received the earlier notice. Since the update, support has grown by nearly 50%. Thank you.
However, the football club, who are joint applicants with The Crown Estate are complaining that this is unfair. So for clarity, If you’re happy to support the broader focus, no action is needed.
If you’d like to remove your signature, Change.org advises:
Use the removal link in your original confirmation email.
Can’t find it? Search your inbox for the petition title or Change.org.
Alternatively, visit the petition page and look for a remove/withdraw option near the comments.
Or simply reply to this update and we’ll remove your name for you.
We continue to support WEFC and youth football and are asking for an open, evidence-led process: publish the traffic, lighting, ecology and drainage assessments, set clear safeguards, and ensure consultation beyond the applicant’s own survey. RBWM’s statutory consultation will be the formal decision channel, we’ll share details when it opens.
Thank you for helping keep Stag Meadow open, accessible and in balance with nature and neighbours.
