
Our community needs your help.
Many seniors and families in our neighbourhood are deeply worried about the future of our community. At a recent meeting, many seniors stood up and spoke about their concerns for the neighbourhood they helped build. Sadly, their voices were largely ignored, and a councillor even told residents that “we are all going to lose anyway.”
But this is a free and democratic country. Decisions that affect an entire community should not be made by a small group without listening to the people who actually live here.
Seniors who built this neighbourhood deserve respect. Our children deserve safe streets, sunlight, and schools that are not overcrowded. Responsible growth must include the voices of residents.
Please stand with us. Even if you do not live here, many communities across Toronto are facing the same challenges.
