Singapore is a nation built on rapid progress, but our true strength lies in the depth of our roots. While the site near the Kallang River is currently identified by some as a more recent Muslim and Hindu burial ground, my extensive spiritual and historical investigations suggest a much deeper reality.

 

Beyond the Surface: A Multilayered Heritage Preliminary evidence indicates that beneath these layers lies a far more ancient history—rich in biodiversity and remnants from the Temasek era and Sea Gypsy (Orang Laut) settlements. These sites are the "Lost Chapters" of Singapore’s spiritual and historical identity.

 

The Danger of Fragmented Research Currently, various volunteer groups are conducting uncoordinated examinations of the site. This fragmented approach risks the permanent loss of artifacts and prevents these findings from being accurately integrated into our official national history. We believe that only a centralized investigation by the NHB can ensure the scientific integrity and preservation of these findings.

 

A Final Chance to Act In our early years, the focus was understandably on rapid urban development. However, if we fail to protect the few remaining remnants of our ancient heritage now, we risk a loss that our nation will deeply regret in the future. Once these links to our spiritual core are destroyed, they can never be recovered.

 

We, the undersigned, urgently call for:

 

Direct NHB Oversight: For the National Heritage Board to take full control of the site to prevent unauthorized or uncoordinated removal of artifacts.
Advanced Archaeological Dating: To provide state-level funding for comprehensive excavations and scientific carbon dating to verify the age and significance of these layers.

 

National Heritage Integration: To officially recognize and protect this area within the national heritage registry, ensuring it remains as a testament to Singapore’s powerful past and future.

 

By honoring the sacred sites and ancient structures emerging from our soil, we prove that Singapore is a global leader with both a legendary past and a mighty future.
